My main goal with this design was to convey the feeling of community and the warmth it brings, especially in the holiday season. Mary was a very important character to me because of this. I wanted her to completely embody warmth and stability. These are the ideals she represents to George. Throughout the design process it was important  to keep in mind the aim of the production. That is to remind our audience of the importance of family and charity.
